“So many details that made this an excellent stay: Three blocks from the highway, but extremely quiet, very short drive to town and any number of hiking trailheads, hot tub just a few feet from the front door, grill on the patio, wonderfully appointed on the inside, fantastic mattress, great hosts.”

“My husband and I stayed in Kay's studio for 4 nights in January. It was convenient to town and to the orienteering events we attended near the Slot canyon in the park. The studio was clean and had everything we needed and Kay was the perfect host. Her two dogs were friendly and fun.”

“We brought our telescopes for astrophotography but unfortunately the weather was uncooperative. The house itself is a little dated but otherwise nice. Minor issues only, and was spot on for what we expected. Would probably not do as a romantic getaway or something but as a budget friendly convenient place for dark skies it fits the bill. Big backyard was good for our numerous telescopes. ”

“Campgrounds with pretty much everything. Games, BBQ pits, showers, horse stalls, grocery store, even pizza. Full hook ups for RV. Camp site is in the high desert, so camping is on dirt, but there are well maintained trees and even small cabins for rent. One of the best maintained campgrounds I have seen. ”

“Just a very average stay. Surfaces and linens were clean. Water filter in fridge had light on, needed to be changed. AC/furnace control panels had lights on specifying filter change needed. Towel rods and hooks were loose and/or falling off in the bathrooms. We aren't pool people so I can't review that, although it appeared clean and maintained. Nothing to actually ruin our stay, just little things here and there that could have been better to earn a 5 star review.”
