“We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, each room had its own space heater. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It was small but didn’t feel cramped. There was even reliable internet access, strong enough to stream movies on the provided……

“Stayed a couple of days last week and even tho it's off-season and quite a few places were closed plus there was still some storm damage in the area, we had a nice, relaxing time. We visited nearby Harbour Springs and St.Ignace and discovered some great places to eat and will definitely be coming back. The property is centrally located when I contacted the host about a couple of issues I had, they resolved them promptly and chked with me afterwards to see if everything was ok. Fantastic hosts……

“Only downsize was the construction noise during the week from the neighbor's property on the north (new construction framing in progress). For us an inconvenience, but when house is built, the problem goes away. Would have been nice to be given a heads-up before we arrived. Being able to bring family dog was a plus.”
