“I wanted to take my family away to just spend some time together and relax, as when we usually all get together, it's for holidays and very hectic. This was perfect!On Friday night, we had a pizza making contest and my adult kids played games and went into the hot tub in the light snow! I woke up early before anyone else on Saturday and sat in the living room with a cup of hot coffee, while looking out at the snow. It was a great chance to just eat all day, spend time together and have a fun……

“My friends and I had a wonderful girls weekend away in the Laurel highlands. House was very spacious and clean, loved the hot tub. It was only a few minutes from some hiking trails, which we enjoyed late morning after the rain stopped. We would definitely stay here again! ”

“We really loved this property - so homelike and cozy. Very clean, and beautiful property with view. We went skiing at Seven Springs which was 25-30 min from the house. Would love to stay in Fall and Summer, lots to do in the area.”

“I have brought my Youth Group here for the 3rd year in a row and it is becoming a favorite destination! While the house does have its little quirks, like years old carpet stains and mismatching light bulbs, we have come back year after year and have seen things improve around the house. It is a cozy place to bring any large group!”

“Property had all the necessities for a quiet getaway. We stayed in all weekend but the location was optimal for nightlife and skiing as well as view of the lake if desired.”

“We came to see Fallingwater. The location of Ohiopyle was minutes away. While the accommodations were not a luxury spa experience, but that was not its intent. The place was spotless, the beds were luxurious, hot water was hot and the cold water cold (this is not always true when you travel) We discovered Ohiopyle! Neat funky town. Walked/took many pics. Owner Andrea was gracious and affable. There were no negatives to report. ”

“Our ski weekend at The Homestead was fantastic and the place was perfect for our group (two families with teenage kids)! “We had a fantastic stay! The home was spotless, well-stocked, and exactly as described—if not better. Being just 2 miles from Seven Springs Resort made it incredibly convenient. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub—it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of seminars. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Highly recommend!”
