“We had a week long vacation booked for Cape San Blas, Florida and had it cancelled thirty minutes before we were to leave for the airport due to Hurricane Helene. I scrambled to find something further West and came upon this home. The home was beautiful. I would highly recommend this property!”

“Loved the location, easy access to anything you might need or want to do. The house itself was as described, although it is showing signs of wear and tear & needs a little deep cleaning attention at some point soon. Lots of things provided for convenience, however only two kitchen towels is quite annoying & very slim on bathroom towels. No shampoo/conditioner provided, just small bars of soap left at the sinks. 3 ride pods, 1 roll of paper towels, and two trash bags was definitely insufficient……

“We couldn’t be happier with our stay! Location was close enough to everything without the fast pace of everywhere else. My kids loved watching the dolphins from the living room. Having more then one shower was very convient for a family of 5 washing salt water off! We will be back next summer!!”

“Cute little place. They only down fall is the bunk room upstairs is a sun room with only a small window AC. I do recommend the owners upgrade to a mini split. We had to turn the AC way down and freeze in the rest of the house and not close the doors upstairs in order to make it comfortable in there.”

“This house was literally on the beach - a beautiful location and the beach service offered with chairs and umbrella was amazing. We had full views of the sunrise in one direction and sunset in the other each night. The beach is incredible. The house is a nice size, clean and well maintained, but very sparsely accommodated. We had 1 skillet that was warped so that the middle was raised above the edges, no rubber spatulas or any spatulas for that matter, no cookie sheet, or plastic dishes/cups.……

“This place is amazing. It was the perfect end to our road trip. It was a great location, clean and tidy. Although it doesnt look it, but it has an amazing shower!! We definitely wished we had longer than 4 nights so we'll definitely be back.”

“The area is a little sketchy to be honest. All kinds of people walking the streets at all times of night and you could definitely tell it wasn’t travelers and most were not very friendly people. The sheets on the couch bed was absolutely disgusting. Hair, dirt, and stains. I have pictures. The floors were still covered with sand when we first arrived. The sheets and the floor could’ve been prevented but the description of a “condo” was not it”

“Great week. Just a couple small items, your letter said it came with 10 beach chairs, there were only 5. There were small black ants throughout the week on the first floor. ”

“The condo is beautiful and has everything you need. Ability to walk across the street to restaurants was a major plus. Two beautiful pools that were very well maintained. Beach access very easy. Of course, the white beautiful sand is always a plus on the gulf beaches and FT Walton did not disappoint. We loved it.”

On the con side, there were several housekeeping and maintenance items that were in need of attention that were causes of concern during our stay.”

“I have stayed in the Bayou Dwellers Cabana Colony before. I love the location. It is close to all my favorite places. I can park and be steps away from the room and the beautiful beach. I always wish I could stay longer!! I appreciated the items there that could be used if our grandchildren would have been with us and the items for use in the kitchen.”
