“We wanted to enjoy a weekend in Carlton Landing and all it has to offer without overspending for a two-night lake getaway. This guest house was small, but just right for what we needed. There’s no oven/stove unit but they have an electric stove top appliance that allowed us to cook breakfast on. Short walk to the pool, food trucks, beach and other spots. The ladder was steep (as expected), but our 4 and 8 year old boys did okay with it.”

“For the most part, the stay was good—good location in the community, room was clean. The bed was awful and appeared to be broken. I would have liked extra towels and toiletries. “This was a cozy place to getaway and unplug. There were some small issues. The firewood wasn’t covered so it was all damp, the coffee pot didn’t fit the coffee maker so you had to manual push up on the toggle to have the coffee come out. The red tape for the hot water in the shower was not accurate. To get hot water you have to turn the knob all the way to the right. ”
