“It was simply amazing - a beautiful place and the attention to detail in the accommodation is excellent - we just had a wonderful time and Raymond and the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. We spent three nights there and would certainly go again. Thank you to everyone there for the experience.”

“A beautiful mix of an older well maintained period building from the 1940's and well made rooms and cottages that stay within its original form. Placed in an excellent spot, by the river, with lots of bird and smaller antelope wildlife. Excellent staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. Internet could be much better.”

“I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign……

“We had one night at The Farmhouse Inn, and we would have loved to stay longer. The garden is beautiful, the air is fresh and it is so quiet as it is a few km from the main road. Even though it is nothing fancy, the beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The evening before we were asked what we wanted for breakfast the following day, and it is my impression that they can cook all the basic breakfast dishes that you need. Would definitely recommend and come back another time.”

“Booked weeks ahead and requested adjacent rooms for family of four, never got them. Bad start. Dinner - 50mins wait, too long, food was good at least. Breakfast good but no bacon and decent coffee is extra. No fridge or milk for coffee/tea. Two tea bags per room for 3 nights. Big problems with hot water and power. Son very annoyed. And crook wifi. Great view of the Mt, friendly manager and staff, safe and secure. ”

“This one is a scam. We paid for it but when we arrived, nobody was there and the phone number wasn’t picked up. Photos are most likely taken from internet. Have called hotels.com who promised to investigate ”

“WiFi didn’t exist, multiple infestations of different insects, the food was only 3 different choices, it exists 10 km away from everything on a dirt road in the middle of no where. Hotels didn’t help out and we asked for a refund on day one. ”
