“It was simply amazing - a beautiful place and the attention to detail in the accommodation is excellent - we just had a wonderful time and Raymond and the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. “The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. “Gorgeous property!!! Right by the river, quiet, serene and beautifully landscaped. The room was a little dated, the shower took a while to figure out and the beds were quite firm. The service was very friendly but a little slow. But overall we had a great stay.”

“Terrible the first night we were given a hut which was very poorly equipped. Avoid Purple Rain which was aptly named as the combined tiny room with toilet and shower wash basin not compartmentalised was leaking water which flowed into the other room a bedroom. The hut was very cold we slept fully clothed … water leak awful no hot water no internet. Internet did not work in the separate restaurant lodge .. chairs in Restarant were wonky canvas and food mediocre. The staff helpful and sorry for……
