“This is a historic property that is very family-friendly. Our grandchildren had an amazing time at the on property water park. There are arcade games and an ice cream shop. A putt putt course is currently under construction. All of yhe employees that we encountered were so friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Amanda in the Wine Bar. She was delightful. ”

“While our room could use some maintenance (A/C cover is loose and carpet needs cleaning), overall the place was clean and the staff very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was nice, with an option for pancakes or waffles made to order.”

In spite of the reviews, I was expecting, based on the outside appearance and location, something cut-rate and riddled with stains, bugs and noisy guests. To my surprise, everything was spotless! A level of clean expected from a property at 4 or 5 times the price was present at Traveler's Choice. While dated, the room was precisely as pictured and described. No stains anywhere, on anything.
