“Perfect place for the area. Very relaxing property.”

“This house/cabin is PERFECTLY situated on the Ichetucknee River. Clean, comfortable… huge screened in porches. It took our family about 2 and a half hours to paddle on the (available) kayaks upriver into the State Park and to the midpoint launch, and an hour to float/paddle back. The river access is… such a treat, and the deck out at the edge was much enjoyed. We saw a couple manatees swim by, even in April, which was a surprise.”

“It's like sitting in the wilderness but right there in your face. All the wildlife around you that doesn't care you are there. Had a very close visit by an osprey, bald eagle and lots of turkey vultures. Daisy duck will certainly keep you entertained. The place is tiny and hard to maneuver for an ADA with a rolling walker, but my wife got used to it. The write up said, kitchen, then later said kitchenette. There was no stove! Only a small microwave, medium sized refrigerator (old school,……

“Finding this cozy cottage covered in trees and it's shady porch was just what I needed to get away from the city. It is very centrally located to many springs and beautiful natural areas and works as a great home base. It only 2 blocks from Ft. White, but you feel like you are out in the country. I LOVED having the windows open and not having to worry who was looking in. Really enjoyed the stay, also fenced yard great for dogs.”

“Very clean. Well stocked with cooking supplies. Beautiful balcony and view. Not well stocked with cleaning supplies to clean up after yourself like cleaning rags, paper towels, cleaning solution. Also, make sure you ask about the elevator and dock. These were damaged during the hurricane and it does not mentioned it in the listing. They were not available to use so be prepared to go up 3 flights of stairs and not have a boat slip. We had to pay for a boat slip at Sea Hag. ”

“What a wonderful place to escape from the busyness of life. The house sits like it's on a peninsula-water views everywhere. The rush of the river is like constant white-noise, providing a wonderful ambiance to enjoy conversation, games, and landscape. If you are looking to kayak or paddleboard, come with experience and lifejackets, as while we were there,the river moved much to fast for anyone to paddle back upstream.”
