“The Serene Lakefront Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We had plenty of room, enjoyed fishing in the lake, and grilled out. Bill and Eliska are great communicators and Paige, who cleaned the cabin for us, was kind and thorough. Our kids didn't want to leave! Neither did we. Highly recommend. As informed by the owners, wifi can be spotty, especially if you have AT&T.”

"Everyone, beware! This hotel is a scam. I booked a room for three of us through Expedia. When we arrived at around 9:00 pM, the front desk clerk rudely told me they only had rooms for two and I needed to book another room. I had already paid on the website. My phone had no signal, and when I tried to connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi, it wasn't working, so I couldn't prove I'd paid. I paid about $134, but the hotel only said I paid about $73 and needed to book another room. They asked for more money. After about five minutes of talking, they angrily said they were closed and kicked me out. I later contacted Expedia and emailed the hotel, but they didn't respond. They also didn't answer my phone calls. The last time they answered, they said I was already checked in. This was my first time encountering a scam hotel in the US. Be careful when booking with this hotel, and check other people's reviews online.MOTEL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY！！！！"
