“We have become huge fans of West Seattle after this trip! Your home had the essentials and we slept well. There are a few items we’d love to provide feedback on, with the full understanding of the rustic accommodations:- Lighting in the bathroom was severely lacking. We are not high maintenance as far as our getting ready routines but we were unable to see ourselves in the mirror! -We love a clawfoot tub but the shower liner did not provide closure when taking a shower. “A wonderful way to connect with nature, through the trees visible through the ceiling of the yurt, the peacocks singing to each other and the steam rising from the outdoor shower. My daughter & I cooked our dinner over the fire pit and swam in the moonlight. Awesome!”

“Beautiful private cabin right on the beach. Harbor porpoises, birds, seals all visible from the deck. Sweet classic cabin with everything you need. Would be a small challenge for someone with mobility issues as the trail down is steep but the cabin is worth it.”

“The owners have done a truly lovely job with this location. I was here with two other friends for a writing retreat, and we all were enchanted. Comfortable rooms and beds, thoughtful choices around every corner. And the location really makes you feel like you are in your own corner of the rainforest. Our only regret is going during the summer burn ban - we are all considering returning in a cooler month to take advantage of the magical firepit. ”

“The owner is underselling this property. The garage is a converted den perfect for kids to watch TV or the fellas to watch a game. There's a detached sunroom like place out back perfect for day reading. If you're trying to decide on a couple of properties and this is on the list, stop debating and click "book" on this property. Seahawks and bald eagles hunting during the day. Little rabbits grazing, birds signing, the magnificent views of Olympia, the sound of the tide roaring in, the abundance……

“Excellent beds! Great kitchen, and we loved the layout of the kitchen-dining-living area. We appreciated both the excellent drip coffeemaker and the pod coffeemaker (and the fact that there were coffee beans AND pods already there). Beautiful lighting indoors and outdoors. Two very minor issues: (1) The driveway is somewhat steep, and the gravel kept shifting a bit—we really had to hit the gas and didn’t have the kind of control in our rental car that we felt we needed.
