“Great place to stay. The cabin had a very rustic feel to it. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the ease of getting to great places to hike!”

“The family had a great time while we celebrated Thanksgiving together. The views from the property are spectacular. We knew the area and were able to find the property with little issues. However, if you are new to the area, you might find the property a little difficult to find. Don't worry it is worth the short though winding drive. The kitchen has very nice appliances but be careful with your fingers and the microwave. It got all of us at some point. The location of the downstairs bathroom is……

“Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold……

“The cabin was a great getaway! I will definitely go back. I would probably not take toddlers again only because of the stairs. Other than that, I can't think of anything negative and that isn't negative. That is just because my toddler grandsons are full of energy and love the stairs. The beds were comfy, and we had all the needed amenities. Love that is out of town and yet close to everything. I also love that the balcony is private due to the a-frame roof. You feel secluded even though there……

“I rented this cabin to have a short artist retreat with friends. The space was clean, comfortable, had tons of natural light. On top of that, the views were inspiring and so beautiful. It was a great place to spend a few days in conversation and creating ”

“It was a great in every aspect. Very clean house and great location. The neighborhood was great and very quiet. Had an issue with the kitchen sink and once I called they had somebody there to fix it within 30 minute. I would rent this place again for sure.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Very spacious place and very clean. Loved the hot tub. Lots of new construction to the back and several older homes out the front, so the view is not as scenic as I expected, but still nice. We loved the proximity to Chattanooga with the feel of being in the mountains. ”
