“Location is close enough to be able to drive to downtown Chattanooga within just a few minutes, but far enough away that you don’t have to deal with as much noise or parking nightmare. As a family of seven, getting accommodations at a hotel is usually a logistical and financial nightmare. This place was perfect for us! House had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Owner was quick to respond to questions and communicated very well. Highly recommended ”

“Property was great for our family! We saw lots of wild life including eagles catching their breakfast most mornings and several herons hanging in the shallow water. Wonderful views of the river and mountains. Well stocked kitchen. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend 4WD/AWD as the driveway might be challenging without. Cabin is 25-30 minutes minimum from main roads and access road is narrow and windy in some spots. ”

“This treehouse is tucked away in the shade along the edge of a beautiful stretch of walnut trees. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room for 2 people, and has a great layout that is bigger in person.We spent our days hiking nearby and the evenings watching the lightning bugs. They have the sweetest barn cat we met by the silo. We hope to stay again!”

“We spent a week at Thatcher Mill House and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very cozy and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Tammy Hass, our host, was very friendly, and the Thatcher Mill house was just as lovely as she was. She certainly thought of everything to make our stay at the house pleasant. “We booked Marcie’s house for our semi annual vacation for 30 people for a week. The house had plenty of beds and bathrooms for the whole crew. The kids loved fishing and swimming all day. The kitchen was loaded and the house had plenty of grills making dinners easy. The pool is huge & Marcie helped keep it clean all week. The property is so private and so much to do there. “I stay overnight with a friend and our two dogs. The place is quaint, full or character, absolutely adorable!! I loved the accommodations with the two bedrooms in opposite sides, great for privacy, and the backyard is perfect for puppers. Only comment is: wish they had a blender and ice trays! Other than that, I oook forward to staying there again!”
