“It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.”

“Received the doorcode a couple days in advance with description on how to use.owner checked in with us to make sure everything was good.Upstairs is a renovated 1890s schoolhouse!Well appointed house with comfy beds and ample communal spaces. Loved the combined kitched/dining room in the upstairs , with the outside seating balcony. Decor was fun and beachy. Nice screened porches both upstairs and down.Living room was very big and homey. “Relaxing place for vacation for everyone We had a fun catching crabs at the private pier. Good communication with property owner, very responsive. House was clean and had everything we need.I highly recommend this cozy place for everyone.”

“Amazing time. Very secluded. Such a beautiful and CLEAN place. This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. They have a little Dyson vacuum to keep it clean. It was great because so many rentals do not even give you a broom to use. Beds are comfortable. The view from the bedroom at night and in the morning was beautiful. We woke up early to catch the sunrise.The pool is so relaxing with the view of the river. We crabbed right off of the dock. Caught so many crabs with hot dogs and Spam.……

“We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!”
