“The property had many accommodations and activities to do during the stay. From the living/sleeping spaces, the game room, and the outdoor spaces. There was plenty to do. The water was lower than shown in the photo (the water was not close to the dock like the photo, had to walk to get to the shore). Host had good communication and answered all questions. Highly recommend unless the water level is a deal breaker.”

“I don’t usually leave bad reviews, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. But Not all houses are safe or clean enough to be used as a for profit guest house. I am sure this was someone’s childhood house. However, whoever owns it now has not kept it up. The cleaning crew needs to be fired, It had trash and filth under beds, in corners, all on the cabinets and stove top. One of the toilets had a crack in the bowl and a sink that the water had stained brown. The water is smelly like……

“* Warning, long winded* We loved our stay. The cabin is cozy with plenty of comfortable sleeping space and temperature control. The host was easy to get ahold of when needed, responded quickly, was pleasant, and even let us know when we had animal visitors. Lots of deer in the area. The place was stocked with basically all the basics we needed. We fished a little. Right in front of the steps is a spot you need to watch your step, otherwise the way down to the river is good. “Matthew was awesome. Handled our reservations quickly and efficiently. We had several rooms reserved for many family members who were coming into the area for a funeral. We asked Matthew if it would be ok to feed a large group of family members that evening in the breakfast dining area. He not only allowed us use of the facility but provided plates and cups as well. “All of the staff we interacted were very pleasant and helpful. The were very professional. No complaints. Would stay here again. The only "complaint" was that there was significant rust / discoloration around the drain control in the bath tub. Overall the room was clean and neat. Was only a 1 night stay. Just needed a place to sleep and shower for the remaining trip. Of course I can only speak to the one room I stayed in. The other rooms may be better or worse so YMMV.”
