“Had a phenomenal weekend celebrating my brothers engagement. House was plenty big enough to host 13 of us with a huge backyard and beds for everyone.Airconditioning worked very well too in what have otherwise been a very toasty few days. Would definitely stay here again”

“The house was very charming! Highlights were the hardwood floors, tasteful decor, cleanliness, and friendly welcome! The property has been well maintained, with very clean and updated bathrooms, comfortable beds upstairs, and spacious kitchen, dining, and family/living areas downstairs. We played games and watched a couple movies during our stay, and walked the short distance to enjoy the downtown square to shop, dine, and browse the farmers market. “Although we had a few issues with the VRBO site not clearly representing the homeowners wishes, overall our stay was amazing! This house was perfect for us we had seven adults and four children with plenty of room to spare. It was set up for families like ours not too fancy I didn't have to worry about the grandkids breaking anything although I did take out the insurance just in case. The grandkids loved the ability to throw the basketball in the backyard have a bonfire and just space to play.……

“This rental made for the perfect group weekend getaway. From the great shuffleboard table to the vintage arcade games like NBA Jam, this place was on fire! The beautiful view of the wide river from the hot tub was so tranquil a member of our group asked what lake we were on. It’s the perfect distance from Madison and Chicago that you feel like you’ve truly gotten away, but close enough that lots of activities feel easily accessible. “Overall the experience was frustrating as when we arrived to the property it was not cleaned, no beds ready, and no laundry done. The house was not cleaned until 10:30 PM. After reaching out to the property manager multiple times there was never a response that corrected their mistake and compensated us for not being able to use the property until 6 or more hours after the check-in date. ”

“This property exceeded our expectations. Communication with owners was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with all our cooking needs. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed the deck and grill. “This property was an emergency find when our first property cancelled on us for our son’s wedding. We came from Texas, and we had family that came from California and Kansas, too! The farmhouse was exactly what was was needed; a peaceful, refreshing, natural setting that was a stark contrast to where we are from.
