“We have stayed at Steve’s and Nancy’s for two weeks and experienced their hospitality, friendliness and such a warmth. Loved the place : super comfortable, very private yet close enough to know the host is there when you need them. Steve and his helper rescued us from a very daring car trouble for which we were so grateful. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views, jacuzzi on the huge terrace was awesome. We will go back next year.”

Well, let me tell you YES, the property and the owners are that great and then some!! From the time Eduardo picked us up at our hotel we felt like we were part of the family, on our arrival we were greeted by Eduardo's wife Betty and their two wonderful doggos, Anute and Legertha... “We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway.……

“The Condo was comfortable, but the water in the sinks wouldn't get hot, even though the shower got hot quickly and had to be turned down low. the only other issue was with the microwave. It took us 2 days before the owner of the condo showed us how to use the microwave and even then, it didn't operate well enough to be able to control the temperature (everything had to be cooked on high), something I rarely do.”

“I would suggest that communication about location include the name of the building and the section of the city, i.e., Latitud Yoses, San Pedro, San José. That would have made my getting here MUCH easier than simply Calle 35, San José. Since Call35 is only a block and a half long, locals cannot even tell you where it is. More detail would have been much more helpful.”

“I arrived early on a Tuesday after flight delays. The place was nice- a lot of construction going on- but nice. Pool looked like it needed a shock but it’s not yet hot enough. Walked into town and enjoyed good food at La casa de Layla. The host was nice. I missed breakfast because I was sleeping soundly. Comfy spot to get adjusted to Tico life. ”
