“This rental surpassed my expectations - pristine, modern, cozy interior that was comfortable and immaculately clean. Even more notable, the piece of land that extends out to the bay is really beautiful. Several nice benches and chairs for watching the ocean, plus a picnic table and an outdoor terrace. I had a great time watching the ocean, birds, and clouds. Gazebo also great. A quiet and uniquely beautiful property, really enjoyed it!”

There was a lot of charm and character and the remoteness was what we needed to recover from the busy holiday season. “Loved the charm, cleanliness, decor and location. However, internet was so bad we couldn’t watch more than a few seconds of YouTube at a time. Upstairs shower had the lowest flow we’ve ever seen, even with volume turned up to maximum. Dishwasher was commercial and required many manual steps lifting basket, etc and special soap that we never found. Easier to hand wash. No laundry and outdoor light didn’t work at night so we stepped in dog pooh getting out of the car when we arrived. Beautiful……

“ It’s an old carriage house close enough to Bar Harbor but also far enough that it’s quiet and peaceful. Inside decor, especially upstairs was neat and my kids loved the spiral staircase. Furniture and appliances were clean, and appeared newer. The bottom bedroom however had a musty smell that may aggravate those with respiratory conditions.”
