“The Stone Cottage is absolutely charming. My son and daughter in law both had to work one day, so the basement worked out beautifully. The loft and rooms were all cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped abundantly. The location next to Beacon Cafe was amazing, food was so good. Whitmers General Store with pizza and various entrees was a 3 minute walk down the quaint road. “We had a short stay during my wife’s spring break (she’s an art teacher). We both fell in love with the cottage and the surrounding pond. Everything was glorious and the breakfast is spectacular. “My friend and I booked for a girls trip weekend to local bookstores in the area. The house was so cute and in a nice little community within walking distance to the lake. Everything was exactly as described and had everything we could have asked for. Very clean and organized. ”

“All was great except when we were looking for stay options you advertised pets allowed and it was not clear anywhere in your information that there was a size limit. My husband and I both read closely and saw nothing pertaining to a limit. we did not Discover until it was too late to cancel that there was a size limit. We were fortunate that you allowed us to bring our pet due to it being the off-season. Otherwise we would’ve been out a lot of money.”

“We had family come into town for my son's wedding so needed space for the out of town guests. Lovely house with plenty of room. Didn't get chance to enjoy the beach or water as we were busy with the wedding events. Little surprised that weren't given information about access to beach but house couple doors down did provide information. Enjoyed stay.”

“This cottage is conveniently located for visiting Akron, Cuyahoga Valley, and even Canton. We like birding and hiking, and there are many beautiful parks in this area. The cottage is comfortable and lovingly decorated. Great communication with the property manager and owner! My only complaint is not with the cottage itself, but with its description of being “steps from the lake.” While this is technically true, the steps take you to a guardrail behind which are private properties going down……
