“Nyeva Mastrarura er et fint lille hotel på øen Ortigia. To broer forbinder øen med resten af Siracusa. Hotellet ligger tæt på det lokale marked (hele bydelen handler fødevarer her hver formiddag). Pænt stort værelse på 3.sal ( ingen elevator ) Glimrende morgenmad. Hjælpsom reception. Man kan bestille både afhentning fra Lufthavnen i Catania og tilbagetransport (det gjorde vi og anbefaler det gerne).”

“We found the apartament with no issues and Caroline (the owner) seemed lovely. The place was very quirky and had a pleasant vibe to it. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. I was hugely disappointed that the images on hotels.com were labeled completely incorrectly. The room was supposed to have a private balcony with a sea view. Also a bathroom with a sea view… both falsely advertised. The sea view was visible only from the front entrance of the house, not from the room. The room had……

“Dette er det mest spesielle hotellet jeg har bodd på. Ingen luxus, men utrolig mye sjel og en helt spesiell opplevelse! Nydelig sted og veldig god service. Er et gammelt adelshus, med en koselig bakhage. Ligger midt i smørøyet i den gamle delen av Siracusa. Er en del trapper og har ikke restaurant/bar så vær obs på det. Men opplevelsen er svært autentisk og noe man husker lenge! ”
