“Dette er det mest spesielle hotellet jeg har bodd på. Ingen luxus, men utrolig mye sjel og en helt spesiell opplevelse! Nydelig sted og veldig god service. Er et gammelt adelshus, med en koselig bakhage. Ligger midt i smørøyet i den gamle delen av Siracusa. Er en del trapper og har ikke restaurant/bar så vær obs på det. Men opplevelsen er svært autentisk og noe man husker lenge! ”

“The hotel was in a fabulous area, walkable to everything. The family run hotel treated all guests as if they were the only ones there, providing personalized care. The breakfast was fantastic and the homemade jam was delicious! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.”

“Overall fantastic location. Warning for those with cars, the parking is very limited so I strongly recommend making arrangements before arriving. Also, the property is located in an area where cars are not allowed so be prepared to walk with your luggage to the property.”

“Location was great! Property was roomy for a studio with everything you need. The value for cost was very good. Communication with host was very good. Wood stay here again.”

“From picking us up at the train station to answering questions, Salvatore was a great host. The place was roomy and bright. It suited us perfectly. ”

“Easy to find. Great location. Had a few issues that were quickly resolved by very responsive host. Bed was comfortable and unit was quiet. Could use a booklet in the unit with all the particulars about the unit. For example; the WiFi code, need to turn gas on under sink before you’re able to use cooktop, dumping water heater reservoir.”

“The apartment is quite grand, high ceilings, painted ceilings, large common areas, modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large balcony. First time in Ortigia and would recommend Ortigia and the apartment to anyone. The apartment is close to La Pizza Duomo. It’s a great location. The check-in process was easy. Would come back to Ortigia and to this apartment!”

“Lots of space. Interesting decor”

“The property was great overall. Fantastic location, great price. It was a bit of a process to check in with the on-site manager Ms. Diana because we spoke no Italian, but we got there. Would recommend.”

“The location is wonderful. tucked away on a narrow street, convenient to the sea, shops and cafes. The motion detector lights from the neighbors on the street are super helpful. please add a house number on the door for easier identification. Small but comfortable apartment. comfortable bed. the bathroom needs a couple of hooks for towels but the clothes drying rack was useful. the wifi is spotty. and it is quite dark in the space due to being so close to adjacent buildings yet not a problem……

“La stanza sapeva di muffa, molto rumorosa soprattutto al mattino si sentiva chi scaricava in strada dalle ore 6 come se fosse dentro l’appartamento. La finestra non era minimamente isolata o oltre ai rumori Entrava la luce del lampione della strada ma non c’era la possibilità di oscurare. La televisione non funziona e il soffione della doccia era arrugginito. Consegna delle chiavi in ritardo di 15 minuti rispetto all’appuntamento previsto. ”

“Great location in a wonderful square. Easy walk to all interesting points. Not fancy but clean and functional. A few minor problems (gas ran out in the evening) were handled quickly and professionally. Enjoyed Our stay in Ortigia very much.”

“Clean , well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds - excellent location - we were travelling with another couple and each had own lovely bathrooms. Would recommend this apartment highly. Only downside is a lot of stairs which was fine with us but might be an issue for those with mobility issues.”
