“This was my husband and my second visit. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five was because our first night's sleep was interrupted by the dogs barking on and off. Everything else was marvelous!”

“The house was exactly what we needed for our weekend family winery tour. The homes was comfortable and perfectly located. The fire alarm did go off and the host quickly communicated and arrived at the property to resolve the issue. Which turned out to have needed a battery replacement. Outside of that, our stay went off without a hitch!”

“We were looking for a house with two bedrooms and two baths for a girlfriends getaway weekend to visit the Geauga County Maple Festival. Thistle was located easily within walking distance of the square as well as all local county attractions were easily accessible. I live in Atlanta now but grew up in Chardon.The house had character and comfort. While it was too cool to take advantage of the ample outside area, outdoor seating for warmer weather abounds. “LOVED FISHING”

“The property had plenty of sleeping space for all of us. It was clean, and the yard had plenty of space for different activities at one time. The only thing that was a problem is the kitchen didn't have enough pan silverware of all of us. One pan to cook on. Was hoping it was better stocked. Also the refrigerator door didn't have brackets on the shelves so we couldn't use the door to keep things on. Other wise was very happy plenty of towels sheets blankets and pillows.”

“Nice cabin.. These cabins are 1,2 max person. For the cost and location to lake Pymatuning it was perfect.”

“Stayed for a weekend swim competition for our kids at spire. It is so close and convenient. Quiet neighborhood, cute house with an older home charm. The only complaint (not even a real complaint), the driveway is narrow and no turn around. Backing in recommended ”

“My Mum, Dad, Husband and I were drivers to an Amish wedding and were also invited. We had to get up around 4 am and be in the area all day till about 10pm. We were looking for a place to stay during the day to rest and get ready for the wedding then rest again before the drive home. The cabin was perfect! The owners adjusted check-in and check out times since we needed it all day but not overnight. They were awesome and very friendly! The place was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for……

“From booking to checkout, the host was extremely accommodating. The location was right along a little loop of the Grand River wineries, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful retreat. The house was cozy enough for the two of us (and our doggy) to relax by the fireplace in the evening and enjoy a coffee on the deck in the morning, yet had more than enough space that we would like to come back with friends in the future! ”
