“Monty, our host, was gracious and joined at the full ranch breakfasts provided as part of the reservation. There were no kitchen facilities but the free breakfast was very filling and arrangements could be made for ranch dinners for a nominal fee. The loft bedroom brought back nostalgic memories of climbing in haylofts as kids. Ranch horses were grazing just across the lane when we arrived and several curious individuals sauntered over closer to check us out. Quiet, welcoming, and a real haven.……

“This place is fantastic! We came for the Sturgis motorcycle rally and this was a great place to stay and getaway from all the chaos! We enjoyed sitting in the wrap around deck at night and watching the storms and also enjoyed watching the wildlife come through in the morning. Communication with the host was fast and responsive! A great hidden gem!”

“We highly enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house in the Black Hills. Check in was very easy, even at night we found the place without any trouble. It is far from any town, which was fine with us…we were happy to get away from things and see the stars at night. My kids enjoyed riding the bikes down the driveway to see some horses, and they loved sleeping in the loft. The place is very well-stocked with anything you could possibly need. The welcome basket was much appreciated :) For anyone looking……

“This is such a nice place to come after a long day of sightseeing. It is so nice to relax on the porch, watch the deer and listen to the coyotes. Had a great time and the hosts were exceptionally helpful. When we plan our next visit we would like to stay here again.”

“I booked a visit to Kara Creek Ranch in an effort to escape the Denver area fireworks with my pup (he's super fearful). Cassie promptly responded to all of my questions before arriving and provided all of the info that I needed to check-in. The property is very remote and quite beautiful - vast open space as far as the eye can see! Everyone on site was incredible - from staff to other guests. Ladena prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning. I enjoyed a 2-hour horseback ride with Hannah. She's……
