“Quant, clean, and cozy, this cabin was the perfect place to stay while turkey hunting. Jay was super friendly, informative, and prompt to respond. The beds were clean and comfy, all amenities were there, and the atmosphere was peaceful.”

“Highlight of our cross-country trip. We ate dinner in the ranch house and my 3 teenage kids were in heaven. The saloon was so much fun with live music, singing, and playing pool. The ranch hand gave us a tour of the horse barn. Wish we had time for a trail ride but were just passing through. We also saw mule deer and wild turkeys as we walked around the area. “All was well. My only concern was the bathroom door (or the lack thereof). Everything was as listed and bottle of wine in the frig was a nice touch but we don't drink and left it for the next guest. We are glad we stayed and had a good time. We tried to leave the cabin in as good condition as when we arrived.”

“My sons and I love to take a trip north to South Dakota every summer. This year we wanted to visit Devils Tower and decided to check out the western entrance to Spearfish Canyon. What an excellent decision! This home away from home is well stocked, very clean and comfortable enough to feel like visiting a family house. “I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Beverly's tiny cabin. The scenery is truly the best in the whole route 585 corridor and Bev is a great host. The cabin is small as advertised but it actually feels bigger than it looks. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. While we were only there 3 days, Bev made my son and I feel like family, and we definitely gained a new friend. “If you like rustic and simple, the peacefulness of the country and being "off the grid" you are gonna Love this place! Enjoy the thrill as you drive down the miles of winding gravel roads wondering if the next bend is your destination. “We were only here a day, but my kids and I had a great time! The property is beautiful and the service is spectacular! Loved the saloon and enjoyed home cooked breakfast and dinner! My daughter is terrified of horses but they eased her into meeting them and got her comfortable enough to try a trail ride. Kids asked to come back next year which is the ultimate stamp of approval!”

“Pros: Very Beautiful location! Friendly people - The ranch staff is super friendly and the other guests are great! Very pet friendly! My 2 dogs were with me and loved being able to run in the country off leash. Super relaxing location, 'country close' to area attractions and the stars at night are phenomenal! It's in the country, so you'll see tons of animals driving in - large deer, turkey, and open range horses and cows. They serve a delicious breakfast and there is a cute western……
