“Our stay was very comfortable. The cabin has a modern decor and updated interior. We had great conversations around the campfire with others staying on the property. Nicely situated between East Tawas and Oscoda for easy access to the area's many attractions. The only drawback was the lack of a thorough job by the cleaning crew. We made no contact with the Guest Contact/Property Manager. - reason for the 1 star.”

“Such a beautiful home with the best location in downtown Oscoda. My family is so lucky we found this gem. Plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Our host was fantastic and was very quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely return. ”

“The cabins were cozy. The walls were very thin and felt like the interiors were original from the 40s or the 50s and there was old wiring and outlets but it gave it a rustic feeling that I liked. Beach was nice but we didn't go swimming. The shower was tiny but a bigger shower will not fit so I can't complain. It was nice.”

“Overall the house was very cute! There were a couple of issues though. There was only a/c in the living room. There was also a leak in the living room ceiling. However the owners were kind in refunding one days rent because of this. The response time on email was not great and the floors were dirty to the point that our socks were black and we were wearing flip flops in the house. But the house itself was very spacious, great location, and if those couple of items were fixed I’d definitely……

“I really enjoyed how close it was to everything. It was super cool to revisit places i havent been to in a while. The host was cool and we got along well. The guesthouse was clean and prepared for a stay and it was a nice cozy little place for a weekend getaway”

“The place had a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, it was clean and had everything you needed to cook! Game room area was awesome as well. Definitely enjoyed the view from the bed to outside with all the snow that came down over the weekend! ”

“When we arrived we had to text to obtain the code which took a while, we found the sliding door was unlocked before the code was sent. When you flushed the toilet a gurgling sound came out of the kitchen sink and it smelled like sewer. Kitchen sink took forever to drain, many windows without screens and the sliding door did not lock nor did it have a screen. Location is good overall comfort was good but the place certainly needs upgrades.”
