“The house is clean, stocked, and had a lot of toys and books for kids. The pool and hot tub are perfect for a winter getaway. This is our second time staying here and we highly recommend!”

“Very nice clean cottage with beautiful views. It was chilly and windy so we didn't take out the boats or kayaks so I guess we will have to come back. Rhonda stopped by to make we got checked in okay and didn't need anything. We thought that was above and beyond and it was appreciated. ”

“Despite the lake community having many houses near each other, this cottage felt very private. Kitty, the owner, is great and communicates well. While it was just the two of us, there was bedding upstairs for an additional 4 people. The electric fire insert was nice and warm. Puzzles and two tables to work on them. Not far from town (15-20 min. to Coldwater, MI) or 15 min. Or less to Angola and Pokagon where we hit the tabogan run. Fun fact: it was snowy and cold while we were there but the view……

“We were a group of 13, and this house was awesome. Plenty of sleeping space and something you don't get with homes with 6+ bedrooms--every bedroom was nice, had a closet, window, etc. Two living spaces is nice. Great views from any room. Very well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend this home!!”

“This was a comfortable and spacious room in downtown Hillsdale. Easy walking distance to restaurants and a somewhat longer walk to Hillsdale College. Downsides: very soft mattress and the location of the toilet in the bathroom is awkward for larger people. Since we were petite it was fine. When we had an issue with the lock it was promptly rand easily resolved. Overall a comfortable experience.”

“We were here for a funeral of a family member who passed too soon and we are all heartbroken and evn though we used none of the amenities (nice kitchen to cook food) evwryrhing was very nice and so muc better than staying in a hotel. We live in Illinois so had people coming and going at different times due to work/life schedules and this worked out perfectly for us. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this cute property! Our group included my older aunt who used the sofa bed on the main floor which was perfect for her! The room had doors that gave her complete privacy, and yet we had plenty of other space to gather in the kitchen and dining room area to talk and enjoy each others company.We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms as did another friend couple. The rooms were well appointed with everything we needed, very comfortable beds and pleasantly……

A thoughtful welcome basket and provisions, coupled with a personal walk through with the owner made for an easy arrival. “We totally enjoyed our stay at the Lake House and the owners are especially helpful and provided everything we needed. The house had everything for us to cook a family Christmas Dinner. The lake was awesome even though all we did was look at the view. The house had room for all of us (5 adults and a dog) and on Christmas Day, we had my Son, daughter-in-law and 2 Grandbabies also, and we were all warm and toasty in the Lake House.
