“The cabin is large and comfortable. Excellent setup for two couples and children. Inside was clean. The outside needs some picking up, which is to be expected in early springtime in Iowa.Some of the utensils, such as the can opener and vegetable peeler, need replacing.”

“Perfect cabin for a weekend stay or week long stay! All the amenities for a quiet stay & away from every day technology. Within 15-20 minutes to small, quaint towns including grocery, restaurants and small town shopping. Communication with host was convenient and very responsive. “Trevor was a great host and communicated well. This cabin was exactly what we needed, a weekend to get away and unplug. It was private and peaceful with amazing country views. It also has a small trail cutout through the prairie that is nice for morning or evening walks! This cabin has motivated us to save and purchase or build our own someday. We highly recommend this hidden gem!”

“Truly a "getaway" in a peaceful setting. Host is nearby, if needed, in a beautiful historic farmhouse, but our stay felt quite "private" nonetheless. Very spacious lodgings in The Shouse would easily accommodate larger family groups. TV viewing space and game-playing space for all. ”
