“Clean”

“Friendly helpful check-in. Foyer & entry to lobby smells very smoky, need to restrict smoking right outside the door. I was disappointed & surprised to smell so much cigarette smoke when I had to initial a no smoking agreement. ”

“Staff”

“The pool is what draws us here. It’s got things for every age. Downside is that the slide wasn’t running when it is posted it’s supposed to be. No life guard to work it. Then when it was running the lifeguard didn’t know what the sign said for kids to be 48 inches tall OR be able to swim across the pool to go down it. They turned down my child and other children who could do this because they weren’t “tall enough”.”

“Quaint, updated hotel with spacious rooms. Limited breakfast options (but at least they offer it!); and a nice little bar/appetizer kitchen in the hotel. Friendly staff. Centrally located downtown close to restaurants, shops, etc. Easy access and parking in the back. ”

“The property is very beautiful and would highly recommend for a summer stay. We saw deer and a pair of bald eagles! We were there for a work retreat so no cell service was not a concern as we did have Wi-Fi. The rustic cabin served our purpose. ”

“2nd time we’ve stayed here while looking at Luther College. Location is good. Rooms have been comfortable. Breakfast is great. ”
