“Older but clean; we stayed here for the night that we were in Alpena. It was during winter; very pleased that the room temperature wasn't freezing cold when we checked in. Parking lot and walk ways were cleared, salted not slippery. We'd definitely stay at this Ma&Pop lodge again.”

“Great location near a good beach. Decent appliances, good tv and ceiling fan. BUT, needs serious upgrades! Very tired carpet, linoleum, cabinets. Kitchenette cabinets stuck shut. Overall, a gloomy room. ”

“A beautiful house on Lake Huron. Well maintained and inviting. The beach area has a lot of room for long beach walks, and there are beach chairs, kayaks, and a great firepit.The house also has a lovely fireplace. The he pnly complaint I had was that the TV could not get live sports games. Otherwise, I would definitely reccomend this property. The 2 times I had to ask questions of the host the response was promt.”

“We had a lovely stay but 2.5 bathrooms wasn't quite enough for 6 ladies. We stayed in October for the leaf colors. The house is beautiful, nice decor and comfortable. Would stay again. ”
