“A very comfortable and cozy cottage. A great place to get away from everything and relax. I loved just sitting outside on the hammock and the dock listening to the lake sounds, especially the Loons.”

“This was a small, bare bones rental. Necessities were included such as kitchen supplies, and I appreciated the gallon of water (water super hard) and the full ice trays. WiFi password didn’t work and I attempted to contact host online, but I never heard back. I think they live on the property, but I didn’t want to bother them. I did get a good cell signal. You might want an extension cord if you like to use your electronics in bed. Cabin may fit 6 in a pinch using couch, but more comfortable for……

“Beautiful, large, clean cottage on Grand Lake with great fishing, close to hiking spots, Lake Huron, and downtown. Host is fabulous. Boat just right for fishing. Have stayed here many times and hope to again!”

“We had two large families stay here and found the property to be very clean, well stocked, and as advertised. There is no air conditioning in this home, so it got very hot! But, we knew that from the listing and packed a few extra fans which I would recommend. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Overall, a great stay.”

“We had a great time at our stay on Hubbard Lake. The owner lives right across the street so he is there if you need anything but never once made us feel as if we were being watched. I have stayed elsewhere where we felt as if the owner watched us the entire stay. This was not the case here! We had a great time. If I had to be picky and complain about something I would say it can get a little warm in the cabins with no ac but it was over 90 our entire stay. Also, the parking is very limited.”

I would definitely stay here again. We have rented several houses on Hubbard Lake and this one beats them all! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to be right on the lake!”
