“It is quite convenient, drive about 10 mins to the town, there are many restaurants and supermarkets (close at 10pm). Owners are nice and garden is beautiful. Breakfast is awesome. Best choice!”

“Had arrived late in Waitomo, friendly greeting by hosts whom were very accommodating showing the suite and property grounds should I wish to take evening stroll. Was an early start next morning but super easy to check out after wonderful nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in area very central to all the activities. Thank you”

“Ray is a helpful person. The unit is actually better than the online photos. The fridge is a fridge freezer now and the microwave sits on top of it. There's a nice breakfast bar opposite the kitchen bench and 2 sofas in the lounge. It's a short walk to the shops and wharf. The unit is private and well supplied, for example, we needed scissors and found some in the unit. There are plenty of plates and cutlery. There is a selection of cereals, tea and coffee, and 2 moccona ( I think) coffee……

“It was just as described but a too small for 4 adults. Great for family for one night. Very close to Black water caves, it was perfect for that. The Fat Kiwi Cafe is a must visit just 9 minutes down the road. Missed a stove but the BBQ was a great improvision. Very cool concept. ”

“The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia……

“as it says cosy and comfy...beds were super comfortable. it was quiet and homely, took a little bit to work out the shower and couldnt get tv to go, however if they left instructions on both that would help. great pressure in the shower , fridge had lots of little extras in it which would be good if we cooked and a great supply of milk. it had everything we needed and loved the style and bits and pieces in there .eg the record player and games books etc. thanks very much very helpful and……

“Good communication and prompt to respond. Lovely layout and well presented, with all that was promised. Fully equiped for the number and age of persons offered to cater for.Easy and quick access to biking and walking trails, shops, golf club, and lake. Would go back again for a longer stay.”

“The place was amazing. The outdoor tub was very pretty and comfortable. The farm fresh eggs they provided was such a nice little touch. ”

“The iron was full of rust and caravan needs some cleaning. Cleaners came about 10am while checkout time was at 11am. Please improve these things.”
