“We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. “Great location. Elevator was not working more than it was working. Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail.”

“Friendly attentive staff, top notch bartender and drinks, beautiful breakfast, excellent amenities and Massage. My one concern is the quality of the bed. The springs were felt through the mattress, and I had a very uncomfortable four night sleep with the strings sticking into my back.”

“Don’t come to this hotel - I want to make sure there’s room for me when I next visit. And I will, because this is a really nice, very reasonably priced hotel. The region is beautiful and the hotel and its grounds are just as beautiful and well maintained. Although it provides breakfast, there is no restaurant but there is on right next door. And it is an excellent restaurant. It offers local food and has excellent wine selection. The staff and reception were very helpful when I arrived, and even……
