“Nice property on the inside however had a cold first 24 hours as house is connected to a huge metal barn that isn’t insulated and very cold in mid-February. Concrete floor in master bedroom adds to cold feeling. Also had to call rental agent to have someone come out and thaw out the pipes as they were frozen inside the barn resulting in no hot water in both bathrooms, which was taken care of in only a couple of hours. ”

“We loved the little cabin and the location was beautiful. However, having just arrived we had no idea how to operate any of the electrical appliances and there is absolutely zero instructions. It was a nightmare to get thru the digital locked door, then the A/C was frustrating as all get out. And the TV was another nightmare to figure out. We gave up with the stove top and there were three other items in the room that were beyond understanding. In the end we lost a lot of relaxation time trying……

“Our 3 night stay included 2 nights of very bad storms and the host was very responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond, despite other cabins needing more asistance. This is a great little "cabin in the woods", so if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isnt the place for you. We always pack "to be prepared", and this came in handy. We enjoy our "creature comforts of home" and so we brought them with us. We brought all our own food and drinks...otherwise it would have been a 30 minute……
