“A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather ”

“Second time staying, a beautiful place tucked away just outside Norwich. Staff very friendly, my room in the cottage was lovely. Breakfast was ok, with a small choice but was adequate. You can go for a walk near the hotel but it is a very busy road with no pavements so take care.”

“Our overnight stay was an anniversary gift from our 3 sons, along with dinner on the Steam Train from Sheringham to Holt. Disabled access and nearby car parking were very useful and breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and the location was peaceful with beautiful grounds.”

“The hotel is located just 5 mins from the Norwich Airport. I will recommend this hotel for people who are taking early flights. The hotel room is large and comfortable. My son (10 year old) slept very well on the sofa bed. Last but not least, the breakfast is delicious. ”

“A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. ”

“Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable with a great shower. The Black Boys Hotel is a good place to stay right in the Market Square with many shops,’church at very close distance If you struggle with mobility. They have an extensive menu with very generous portions. It is also a stone throw from Blicklimg Hall, Wroxham. Holt and other places to visit near by.”

“Excellent comfy room with a few minor drawbacks, it was over the main restaurant area so was noisy early on, the water pressure on both hot and cold was poor but the shower was excellent and no toilet roll holder. The staff in general were very good and Jenny was excellent. The food in the restaurant was pricey but if superb quality, especially the home made pie.The draught beer was excellent and the wines very drinkable. The room cleaner left a bit to be desired, not a thorough job by any……

“This was a spur of the moment decision to stay in Wroxham and we fancied a bit of luxury, and indeed Wroxham Hotel did provide just that. It's an unassuming building with a pleasant terrace overlooking the river and all the boats. The room was comfortable and spacious with lots of little extras like toiletries and slippers! The food was excellent - we particularly enjoyed the best breakfast we've had in a hotel for a long time. I can't fault the staff either - friendly, helpful and professional.……
