“It was a nice place”

“This booking is a SCAM! Do not waste your time. I made a reservation for my family to stay in the penthouse, to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrive at the building and front desk staff are unaware of any arrangements. I called the number for the “property owner” and get voicemail which directs me to call another number. That number goes to voicemail for a Ms. Jacobs, who then texts me “hello???” after I made several attempts to call her. I asked her about the booking and she was very……

“DJ was very responsive to all of our questions and was very friendly greeting us when we arrived. Very good stay for the price - dont expect The Ritz lol.”

“The best rental experience we’ve ever had. This amazing houseboat is very beautiful with bountiful windows that give you spectacular views of the Harbour. Exceptionally clean with great amenities and very elegant sheets. The nighttime and morning views are special and make you not want to leave. Well appointed kitchen and beautiful bathroom with a great walkin shower! Highly recommend this beautiful houseboat and can’t wait to return on a future trip to Baltimore! Great service and communication……

“The location of the property is terrific for the Inner Harbor and sport stadiums. The apartment is as it looks in the pictures It is a very basic rental, with minimal amenities. Being in the urban center of Baltimore, you hear all street activity at all hours. It worked for us because we didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment. ”

“At first site I was Leary but a neighborhood garage owner befriended us and made sure we were safe by even setting up cones in the street to secure a parking space. The host Mr. Smith was very kind and patient and provided all the info we needed. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we required. It was a challenge with the winding staircase for 3 senior ladies but we got along fine climbing them several times a day. I loved the historical feel of the brick and staircase.. Mr. Smith……

“Perfect place. I love the location the place was nice. Well equipped, have everything you need for a nice trip I would definitely stay there again.”

“We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved.”

“There are many people outside of the building which is a locked building but the key is hard to use to open the door. The bar downstairs is super loud and you can’t open the windows because they are pLexi glassed shut. ”

“Home was in a great location convenient to many restaurants and bars. Listing stated they had a grill but unfortunately did not. There was a fire pit in the back yard but no propane tank so we couldn’t use it. Parking was a challenge every night we came back from the family we were there visiting. House is decorated nicely but living room furniture was super uncomfortable but beds were very comfortable.”
