“The McKenzie Mtn View cabin is a great place from which to enjoy the central Adirondacks. The cabin is in the hamlet of Bloomingdale so you're away from the tourist throngs in Lake George or Lake Placid but still very close to hiking and biking trails and ponds and lakes for boating and fishing. We especially enjoyed riding our bikes on the new Adirondack Rail Trail, one of the prettiest trails we've ever ridden. We also enjoyed walking our dog on Moose Pond Road and letting him swim in the pond……

“We had a very nice experience here at the chalet. Everything was clean and well maintained. The surrounding area was beautiful.One critical feedback item for the future… We stayed at the chalet in March, and the area was just starting to thaw from winter. I wish that the chalet had notified us that in order to get to the chalet, you have to traverse several dirt roads that were really muddy because of the rain / melting.
