“The location of the property is superb, and it made a great base from which we could explore and hike around the Lake District. We loved staying there so much that a part of us really did not want to leave at the end our holiday. ”

“Stayed here as a quiet base to walk the 3 Peaks. Very peaceful and not too far away. The only negatives for us would be that there were no teabags/coffee, sugar, salt & pepper. We have stayed in many cottages and this has been the only place where there has been nothing at all.”

“We had a good time in the house. It is very spacious, confortable overall and the grounds are lovely. It was very suited to our group with people of all ages and the location is great to visit the Lakes.Only downfall : the house needs TLC especially in some of the bathrooms.We also encountered problems including wifi and hot water system. But the property manager was reactive and did her best to solve them when possible.”

“酒店靠近湖邊，交通方便，是不錯的選擇。週末放假貴得有點離譜，都是3000以上的價格，到了之後發現其實有更多更好的選擇。房間基本上沒有風景可言，我們三個房間，只有我的大床房可以看到一點湖景，其他什麼都沒有。酒店的員工都很歧視亞洲人，我們在餐廳享用了晚餐和早餐，晚餐的時候，多次催促我們點菜，我們朋友感冒了在房間先休息和吃藥，員工竟然說我們預定的是7點，你們已經遲了15分鐘點菜了必須要快，讓人感覺很莫名其妙。早餐的時候，點了茶一直沒來，問她就說很多人，要逐個準備，最後催促了幾次發現根本是遺漏了，這服務也是讓人失望；然後，其他桌都是主動過去問要什麼早餐，我們的不叫都不問，也不告訴我們有麵包，這就是對待亞洲人的服務態度？？”

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
