“Pretty much perfect all around. The room we stayed in was basic and perfectly clean. The hotel had recently been remodeled. This hotel is on the main drag so there was a little traffic noise (I always travel with a white noise generator for just such instances!) but not too bad. The location is in the middle between Nye Beach (ocean) and the bay; we walked to those location. We made the quick drive over the bridge to the aquarium, marine center and Rogue Brewery for dinner. “Large spacious room with a separate jacuzzi area was a bonus. Large parking in front of hotel well light and in view of front desk and rooms felt secure. Plus an oustanding restaurant right across the street with the best 1/8 inch fries that curl a bit after frying, to resemble thick potato chips with perfect texture.”

“We accidentally locked the keys in the room when we went out for a bit, it was after the office closed but they were helpful at getting us another key at late night. Staff was nice when we checked in as well. Would stay here again when back in Newport”
