“I stayed here again after two years because the hotel is located right by the sea, the scenery is beautiful and very quiet, and there is a heated swimming pool that the children love. It is as good as always! !”

“What an amazing stay!! I do wish the dog friendly rooms were a little nicer. I almost feel like I end up downgrading a little bit to take my dog with me. It would be nice to have some sort of continental breakfast muffin and coffee. Something to that extent overall it was an amazing stay and I would definitely see myself returning.”

“it is a beautiful well kept property in a spot that is not so well kept. Great breakfasts and nice and responsive staff. televisions are available on request, but the set up may prove awkward since there is no designated space in the room. The property has nice sitting outside areas around the property. Access to Agate beach is via a small steep path. Parking is provided in a covered area. Ocean House is not in walking distance to restaurants or shopping. The firepit pic is misleading since when……

“Great view, easy walk to the beach ”

“Wonderful weekend with the family. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The salmon chowder was a nice treat and we appreciated the breakfast offerings in the morning. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the fireplace in the room while sitting and enjoying the sound of the ocean was perfect. My kids said this was their favorite hotel at the coast.”

“Loved our overnight stay! We are locals but were meeting friends from Idaho and decided to stay over. Very clean rooms, very friendly staff - if you are used to “5 star fancy” you might be disappointed but trust me, this place is great! The back area to the beach is awesome and I particularly loved the bathroom we had in Room 2. Not ultra modern but quirkily vintage which was a plus. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. ”

“Our room was clean and quiet with an electric fireplace and view of the harbor. It is possible to walk uphill to restaurants, shops and the whale watching center. We have stayed here before and would stay again.”

“It was noticeable that the room has been updated. Room seemed very clean. Carpets could have used a cleaning. Continental breakfast was good. Loved the fact that we were a 5 minute walk to dining, shops, whale watching etc. We recommend this place.”
