“We have been to the Big Island many times and staying Waipio Gardens was one of the best trips we've ever had there. It is a beautiful property that provided serenity, great hiking and amazing beach time. The house is nestled in the jungle in the valley with gorgeous plants, fruit trees, lots of birds and even wild horses. We picked and enjoyed fresh oranges, grapefruit and papaya. The hosts, Sukumar and Kristi, were very helpful in the planning of the trip as well as ferrying us to and from the……

“Really enjoyed the scenic rural country stay! This is a special part of the island. Short walk to Waipio valley lookout and short drive into historic Honakaa. The hosts were very welcoming and the fresh fruit from their garden was an exceptional treat. I loved the dogs, cats, and farmlife all around. A truly unique stay. “This place turned out to be a real gem. Located in a residential area just outside Weimia on the Big Island, it was the perfect place to explore the entire Island. It was easy to get to everywhere even Southpoint. The furnishings were excellent and the host supplied practically everything you would need other than your food and toiletries. Very spacious rooms with large beds. If there was any complaint it would be the internet was very slow - but adequate for our needs. Also cell service was……

“Waimea is my favorite Big Island location. This house was actually bigger than I thought. It has two bed rooms and a loft that also has a bed. Everything worked and it was very comfortable and quiet. Only thing that would have made a 5 would be new mattresses.”

“This property was exactly as listed if not better. Whale watching from the porch anytime of day; or lounging in the sun overlooking the ocean. The serenity of being immersed in nature ; from the birds, horses, frogs, geckos. The night sky was absolutely magnificent. And occasionally able to see the silhouette of Maui. Thats all, and then the actual views of the healing energy of Waipio Valley. I enjoyed having a little haven to go to after a day of sight seeing! The house was completely stocked……
