“Wonderful, clean, friendly, pleasant surroundings, at this quaint country Inn, that has so much warm character. Friendly, helpful staff. No TVs in rooms, however there are plenty outdoor things to do to keep busy during the day and evenings. Love the continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese socials. Great quiet location in the middle of quaint farm and residential area. Easy access to Solvang. Santa Ynez, and Los Olivos.”

“My wife and I stayed overnight — we loved everything about our stay. The rooftop was peaceful and a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset. Short walk to a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and the Seaside Market. Staff was friendly. The ability to “check out” records to play in the room was a pretty creative perk, too. We were first-time guests, but we plan on being repeat guests in the future!”

“Lovely location for charming hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Room is small (especially bathroom) and we could hear conversations in neighboring rooms. Parking is limited so we did not move the car once we had a spot. I would stay here again.”

“super quaint and cute! Wish the shower was tall people friendly for the Monterey room, but the room itself was stunning. The courtyard needs a bit of a clean up, and the complimentary coffee and water were cold. Other than that we loved the view from breakfast and from the front of the inn! Very picturesque. ”

“This place is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms offer both privacy and breathtaking views over the valley. The entire retreat is in the middle of nature and feels like a little heaven out of time, even though it’s only a short drive to downtown. There are many beautiful and calm spots meant to meditate, relax, read or watch the sunset. The staff was always friendly and helpful. “Loved the room except the heating/automatic fireplace was a little frustrating to figure out. We asked the maid for only towels on day one and then didn’t get a visit from her again (we stayed 4 nights) Maybe she misunderstood There was what sounded like a large gathering with music and loud bass that lasted til midnight all 4 nights we were there. I don’t blame the hotel, but wouldn’t stay there again for that reason.”
