“A nice cozy wooden hotel, somewhat old but very well maintained and recently remodeled, from what I can tell. Very clean. Breakfast is varied with fruits and eggs and mini muffins and all kinds of stuff, but the best thing was the automated pancake maker which provides entertainment while it makes pancakes.”

“The room was awesome. The condition was ok. The couches are white as it is decorated the way it was in the olden days and they are a bit dirty. I understand that. I was not comfortable sitting on it but I loved the room. There was no coffee in the room so that was no bueno. ”

“Check-in couldn’t have been easier. Check-in staff was a pure delight! Room was safe, clean, comfortable. Convenient to restaurants, downtown Placerville (super cute and fun!), coffee. “Hubby didn't like how the shower in the master bedroom didn't heat quickly as it should. Hot tub is more like a warm tub, but a GREAT hottub. 2 Bucket seat style areas and 1 that gets your hips real good with the pressure. Really good tub! Heat not super hot tho. The house was almost 90 degrees when we checked in. Itd be nice if it was programmed to be cool if the owner has control over that. BUT that is a big ask lol! I loved the place.
