“Great family stay! Highly recommend ”

“My husband and I along with our 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely mountain retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road……

“We were looking for a place to have a large family dinner that was close to our VA relations and this was perfect. A well equipped kitchen with plenty of room for a few visitors. Beds were comfy and house was clean.”

“This was my second stay here and it’s just lovely. The furnishings are beautiful, the beds are so comfortable, and everything is just top quality. ”

“It's was great. We visited family in the area. And had our family Christmas together at this place. We played ping pong and pool when we where there. Great location for dogs. Plenty of space to run and play. The house was great as well. Plenty of space for everyone.”

“Did everything I wanted to do in Harpers Ferry hiked the Maryland Heights Trail explore the town and watched the trains pass by ”

“Great experience. Cabin is as shown, very comfortable, easy access. 10 min to Shepherdstown, lots of great restaurants and shops there. Our dates ended up being over the severe cold/snow in January 2025, so we didn't do much hiking or anything on the river, but it was a lovely environment, very peaceful and cozy. Owners were super responsive when needed and very easy to work with. Would definitely go back in nicer weather! ”

“This was a great place to stay to getaway and have privacy. The Host was so kind and went out of her way when I was not feeling well. It was extremely clean and you can even use the pool and spa. I would highly recommend staying there and it can accommodate more than just 2 people. We would definitely stay there again! Karen Meck”
