“This was my second stay at Ridge Trail Cabin, and it was just as magical as the first—this time for a girls’ weekend with my 4 sisters. The cabin is tucked away in the secluded beauty of the Kiamichi Mountains, offering crisp mornings, incredible sunsets, and refreshingly cool evenings—especially in May. The dark night sky was perfect for stargazing.With no Wi-Fi and barely any cell service, it was the ideal setting to unplug, catch up, and truly recharge - we came prepared. We enjoyed scenic……

“For me this was heaven on earth. The peace, the view, trains, cows bellowing, roosters crowing, watching three baby goats take steps in their first days, along with enjoying lovely hosts David and Clara. If one notes there is no stove, there is an electric 2-burner hot plate and an electric fry pan. When eggs are available you won't find better (nor the local Braum milk). Sunrise on the porch with coffee or tea and all the morning sounds of the earth waking is just the best. Thank you David……

“Second time staying there, same great experience.Did figure out this time, that after four people are in the hot tub at one time, the water may be too low for the water to completely heat up, check the temp a few hours before use, if it won't allow you to raise the temp, add some water from the hose behind the cabin, it's hot water. ”
