The layout is odd—the bedrooms are tiny and the beds are really crammed in there. The bathroom is huge, probably larger than the bedrooms. The "living room" is more of a foyer and definitely not set up for any more than 2 people. The furniture and decor is kind of random, like they raided someone's grandma's……

“We had the most fabulous stay in this cottage with our dog. The house was very light, cute and clean. Everything was as described. “Beautiful yard, beautiful furnishings. Everything was clearly marked and easy to use. They had everything we needed. Basement inlaw suite was wanted by all and we had to negotiate. The fridge was huge but like the microwave, was too high for much of my family, (4 of us are under 5'2"). They even had a few board games and puzzles. Was a little disappointed the puzzle we tried was missing pieces, but it is understandable.”

“We loved our stay. The cottage was literally steps to W. Cliff Drive with its trail along the ocean cliffs on the Westside of Santa Cruz. It was easy to see why the owner had won awards for restoration of the Carriage House. It was both beautiful and so thoughtfully done. Every day we noticed new details that were thematic, considerate or just pretty. Those little "surprises" were themselves a pleasure. Everything from the "horse" theme to the detail of the hardware chosen to the beach glass……
