“My family and I had a great time staying in Athens. The facilities allow for a host of activities such as getting out on the lake or going for a dip in a heated pool. The lake itself is much bigger than I had anticipated. The layout of the house works well and the basement was a great gathering spot especially on rainy days. The only sore spot was the garbage process. You’ll need to throw out trash using special bags provided by the HOA and we only received two bags. That’s not enough for a……

Bunk beds were falling apart a bit- screws and pieces were loose- and the water in the house ran reddish brown every day until you ran the faucet for 15 min or so. The kitchen is extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook some amazing meals. They have a record player and records that we loved listening to. “This was our second stay at this house. For being a somewhat smaller house, it has all your need for a ski weekend. Our family of 6 did just fine with sleeping arrangements and amenities to cook meals and just relax. It’s so close to the hunter downtown area and ski area. Very convenient. ”
