“We had a great stay at this cottage. The twin over full bunk bed was just like the one at our home, so the kids felt right at home. Having the chickens to check on and provide us with fresh eggs was awesome! The kids absolutely loved it, and they enjoyed the fenced in backyard. Having the room with the pool table was a great spot to hang out, and fun to have the cousins and family over to spend time together. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and it met all our needs. ”

The house has beautiful historical details, lots of super clean bedrooms and big rooms with comfortable furniture for a family gathering. I grew up nearby but now live out of state and it is great to find a nice centrally located place to host family events. “My husband and I took our 3 boys here for a little spring break getaway and it was PERFECT! My oldest loves fishing, so he spent a majority of the time fishing while my other 2 and I enjoyed the nice warm hot tub! I also really loved sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the lake while having my coffee. Gail was an excellent host and very prompt with responses and making sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met! The home is breathtaking and we cannot wait to come back when……

“This house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing week with the family…. We were close to Ann Arbor and were able to go see a U of M softball game and tour the campus. It’s a beautiful 45 minute drive to U of M. We spent most days fishing at Wamplers lake which was only 20 minutes away.
