“Quite a warm welcome from the guy at the reception, spoke English fluently. Told us we had 10% off at the nearby restaurant, which was great. The outside is not that fancy, however the receptionist told us it will be redone somewhere in April or May.”

Fra værelset var der hyggelig udsigt til græssende limousinekøer og brasseriet var indrettet sjovt med gamle effekter fra Esso. Personalet var kompetente og venlige.”

“It was a bit difficult to find the lobby, but once we found it, the staff was extremely welcoming and gave us an upgrade to be able to see the runway from our room (which my airplane-loving husband was thrilled about). Great experience all around!”

“Merzig was, for my family, an overnight stop both to and from Rettenberg. The hotel was quickly found from the motorway and parking was available. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant. That breakfast was included was a bonus and there was a good choice of well prepared tasty food. Staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. If all Holiday Inn Expresses are as good, they will be my future choice on my journeys.”
