“I stopped at the Sundial Lodge as it was ~ half way on my trip from OR to CA. Proprietor was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. What I really liked was the location, after driving all day I wanted to stretch my legs. Sundial Bridge is a nice walk and there are a collection of restaurants within a half mile. I'll be stopping here again.”

“The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.”
