“There was enough room for my large family to sleep and eat. It was very private and quiet as there are only cornfields and trees surrounding the property. The host was very helpful and friendly. There was not a swing set as pictured, but the kids had fun playing in the loft. ”

“Scott was a fantastic host - very responsive & easy to work with! Lots of room for us to spread out & relax without feeling we were on top of each other! Hot tub, pool/pingpong table & foosball were as shown & greatly enjoyed.Also had several hot games of cards at the kitchen table!!Loved the sunroom too! The listing did say "pool" but apparently an above ground pool was recently removed. Not a problem at all for us as we wouldn't have had time to use it anyway.Very convenient for our family -……

“The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!”

“Really enjoyed this unique urban getaway. Loved the ambience and the cleanliness of the facility. It was also extremely easy to communicate with management when needed, who were very gracious in helping us make particular arrangements for our stay. Would definitely return! ”

“Beautiful apartment with all we needed for a comfortable family July 4th weekend away!! ”

“Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. Very attentive host, easy to communicate with and quick responses. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen had what was needed to be able to make our own foods. Amazed how much light came in the……

“Kelly’s place was great! An amazing throwback with great attention to detail. The home is also incredibly clean and felt comfortable and well cared for. We loved walking to the park and getting ice cream with our toddler. We’d stay here again for sure!”

“Overall the experience was frustrating as when we arrived to the property it was not cleaned, no beds ready, and no laundry done. The house was not cleaned until 10:30 PM. After reaching out to the property manager multiple times there was never a response that corrected their mistake and compensated us for not being able to use the property until 6 or more hours after the check-in date. ”

“SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. “The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I noticed an oscillating fan that wasn't working and let the owner know; Maureen took care of it right away. The location is ideal. Close to New Glarus, Madison, and so many other great places to visit. We found some interesting games to play in the kitchen closet: Cat Crimes and Twizzle. One thing perhaps a bit surprising for an apartment: very quiet. Didn't hear any neighbor the entire visit!”
